Piping Designer

As a Piping Designer, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - 3D Modelling of Fermenter and Bio-reactor systems, Filtration systems, CIP skids, Process vessel systems for bio-process applications including clean and black utilities in accordance with ASME BPE. - Preparation of Equipment General arrangement drawings including sectional elevations. - Preparation of Isometrics & fabrication Drawings. - Preparation of final piping detail drawings for IFA (Issue for Approval), IFT (Issue for tendering) and IFC (Issue for Construction). - Extraction of MTOs from Plant 3D and generation of manual MTO from 2D Drawings. - Communication with team Lead, team members & inter discipline coordination. - Participating in internal & external model review as required. - Guiding the trainee designers. Qualifications required for this position include: - Graduation in Mechanical Engineering. - 4+ years of experience, preferably in ATF/Pharma sector. - Expert level knowledge in using Plant 3D for equipment modeling and piping modeling. - Superior command over AutoCAD 2D. - Experience in process piping design and ability to understand P & ID and able to develop piping layout independently. - Hands-on experience on usage of Navis Review. - Good working knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI etc.). - Familiarity with ASME-BPE standards.
