Job Description

As a Pipeline Designer at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in the energy industry by ensuring design integrity and leading a team of designers to deliver projects effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working as a fully competent onshore Pipeline designer either independently or as a project lead, guiding the team to maintain design integrity. - Reviewing and preparing Pipeline Route Layout Drawings, Pipeline Alignment Sheets, and Isometric Drawings for various project components. - Ensuring the correctness of Material Take-off & Construction BOQ to facilitate timely material ordering. - Designing/selecting appropriate pipe supports for aboveground pipelines. - Utilizing software knowledge in AutoCAD/MicroStation, and ArcGIS/Google Earth for design purposes. - Planning man hours, resources, and organizing the Technical Document Register (TDR) preparation. - Providing field engineering support for site queries. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Pipeline). - Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas industry. - Experience in managing various activities related to Pipeline engineering. - Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, delegate, and achieve results through teamwork.
