PingFederate Engineer

As a skilled professional in the field of identity and access management, you will be responsible for various key aspects related to PingFederate integrations, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) migration, Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation, and federation setups. Your duties will include: Designing, developing, deploying, and configuring robust PingFederate integrations for various applications and services. Providing hands-on support for MFA migration initiatives, including the integration and management of hard/soft tokens and FIDO technologies. Implementing and optimizing seamless SSO features to ensure a smooth and secure user experience across integrated systems. Managing the containerized deployment of SSO infrastructure with a good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes. Configuring and maintaining federation setups with Azure AD and Hybrid AD Join environments. Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to PingFederate, SSO, MFA, and federation protocols. Creating and maintaining technical documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborating closely with application teams, security teams, and other IT stakeholders to ensure successful integration and operation of identity solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate and/or PingAccess. Expertise in OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML authentication protocols. Experience with modern MFA tools and standards such as Passkey and FIDO2. Knowledge and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization. Experience with federation setup involving Azure AD and Hybrid AD Join environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
