Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with prescribed exercises and rehabilitation routines
Monitor patients during treatment sessions and report progress or concerns to the physiotherapist
Help patients with mobility (e.g., walking, transferring from bed to wheelchair)
Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy
Set up and maintain treatment areas and equipment
Prepare patients for therapy sessions (e.g., positioning, using support aids)
Demonstrate and guide proper exercise techniques under supervision
Record patient progress and responses to treatment
Maintain accurate and timely records of exercises and attendance
Report any unusual symptoms or adverse reactions to the physiotherapist
Clean and sanitize therapy equipment and tools
Ensure proper storage and maintenance of physiotherapy supplies
Assist in assembling or adjusting mobility aids and exercise devices
Communicate effectively with physiotherapists, patients, and family members
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs
Follow infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols
Assist in transferring and positioning patients safely
Help prevent injury by ensuring proper use of equipment
