Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities

A. Clinical Responsibilities

· Assess patients’ physical condition and functional limitations through evaluations.

· Develop personalized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and medical history.

· Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based techniques to improve mobility, strength, and pain management.

· Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture correction, and preventive care.

· Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

B. Home Care Physiotherapy (as required)

· Conduct home visits for patients who are unable to attend the center.

· Assess home environments to recommend mobility aids, safety modifications, and ergonomic adjustments.

· Provide family/caregiver education on assisting patients safely during mobility and exercises.

· Ensure proper scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting of home-based therapy sessions.

C. Administrative and Reporting

· Maintain and update patient records in the prescribed format.

· Prepare periodic reports on therapy outcomes and patient progress.

· Participate in health awareness camps, community programs, or outreach activities if required.

· Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality guidelines.

3. Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT) from a recognized institution.

· Registration with the relevant Physiotherapy Council (if applicable).

· Minimum 1–2 years of experience in clinical or community physiotherapy; experience in home care physiotherapy preferred.

· Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric physiotherapy practices.

· Proficiency in patient communication and documentation.

4. Skills and Competencies

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Empathetic and patient-centered approach.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital records.

· Willingness to travel locally for home care visits as required.

5. Work Environment

· Work will be primarily at the assigned center, with travel to patients’ homes when home care physiotherapy is needed.

· Working hours and schedule may vary depending on patient needs and organizational requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
