Who are we looking for: We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced IT Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience who will be responsible for managing the organisation's IT operations. The ideal candidate will also ensure that all systems and services are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing IT projects, managing the IT team, and ensuring that technology solutions are efficient, secure, and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimise the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services. Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. User Support: Oversee help desk operations to ensure timely support for end-users and resolution of IT issues. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on IT performance, project status, and resource utilisation. IT Strategy Development: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organisation’s goals. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, ensuring effective performance and professional growth. Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery. Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus. Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in IT as an IT Manager or similar role. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Experience with IT infrastructure management and cloud technologies. Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability. Collaborative and able to work well across departments. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems. Experience with cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
