Job Description: Physics Teacher (Grade 11 & 12)

Position: Physics Teacher
Location: The Intelli School, Viskhapatnam
Department: Senior Secondary (Grades 11 & 12)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
Salary: ₹50,000 per month
Reporting To: Head of Science Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons for Physics to Grade 11 and 12 students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments (tests, assignments, projects) and provide constructive feedback to students to monitor their progress.
• Lab Supervision: Oversee practical sessions, ensuring that students understand the application of theoretical concepts in laboratory experiments.
• Student Support: Provide extra help and guidance to students requiring additional assistance, including remedial classes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Collaborative Teaching: Collaborate with other subject teachers to develop interdisciplinary teaching methods and approaches.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics (M.Sc.) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching Physics at the senior secondary level.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Physics and its practical applications.
• Proficiency in using technology and modern teaching tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques.

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience in preparing students for competitive exams (e.g., JEE, NEET) is an advantage.
• Ability to foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
