Physician (MBBS, MD)

Job Summary:

The physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide range of illnesses. This role involves managing both acute and chronic conditions, ensuring patient well-being, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultation & Diagnosis:

  Conduct thorough patient consultations, physical examinations, and detailed history-taking to accurately diagnose medical conditions.

• Treatment Planning:

  Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays, ECG), and performing minor medical procedures.

• Preventive Care & Patient Education:

  Advise patients on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and health maintenance strategies. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and disease management.

• Referrals:

  Refer patients to specialist physicians or other healthcare professionals when advanced or specialized care is necessary.

• Medical Record Keeping:

  Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) of all patient consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups.

• Collaboration:

  Work collaboratively with nurses, lab technicians, and other clinic staff to ensure a seamless patient experience and coordinated care.

• Quality & Safety:

  Adhere to all established medical guidelines, ethical standards, and safety protocols. Stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices through continuous professional development.
