As a Jr. PHP & WordPress Developer at Quantastic Marketing, you will play a vital role in our development team, contributing to the construction and upkeep of websites for our clientele. This position presents a valuable opportunity for a beginner-level developer to advance their expertise, particularly in PHP and WordPress, within a nurturing and innovative setting. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with the development team to create and maintain websites using PHP and WordPress. You will also be tasked with customizing WordPress themes and plugins to align with client specifications. Efficient and well-structured coding in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be essential, along with utilizing WordPress for website content management, ensuring responsiveness across various devices, and conducting quality assurance tests to uphold a seamless user experience. Furthermore, you will be expected to implement security measures, diagnose technical issues promptly, and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in PHP, WordPress, and web development. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fields, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in PHP, WordPress core functionality, themes, and plugins, as well as strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design, are crucial. Experience with content management systems, especially WordPress, and familiarity with relevant web development tools and frameworks are desired.
