PHP Developer (Laravel)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design and manage databases using MySQL or PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Create and integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS is highly desirable.
• Collaborate with Airtel's cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software deployed on Airtel's cloud infrastructure.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices (e.g., SOLID principles).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in PHP web development.
• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem (e.g., Eloquent, Blade, Queues).
• Solid proficiency in frontend technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, containers). Direct experience with any major cloud provider is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate into a client's team environment seamlessly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
