Description
As a PHP Developer at Airtel, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. You will design and manage databases using MySQL or PostgreSQL to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Additionally, you will create and integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, with experience in utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS being highly desirable. Collaboration with Airtel's cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features will be a key aspect of your role. Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software deployed on Airtel's cloud infrastructure will also be part of your responsibilities. Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices such as SOLID principles is essential. Qualifications Required: - A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in PHP web development. - Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects. - In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem (e.g., Eloquent, Blade, Queues). - Solid proficiency in frontend technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization. - Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, containers). Direct experience with any major cloud provider is a plus. - Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate into a client's team environment seamlessly. In addition to the above, hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS, experience with RESTful API design and development, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment are preferred qualifications.,
