Description
Role & responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Magento, WooCommerce, and Shopify websites using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Work on theme customization, plugin/module development, and third-party API integrations. Optimize website performance, speed, and security for eCommerce platforms. Troubleshoot and debug issues in PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and CMS-based applications. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers to enhance website functionality. Ensure website compatibility across different devices, browsers, and ecommerce platforms. Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in PHP and eCommerce development. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in PHP development or with a strong background in Magento, WooCommerce, or Shopify. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Experience with custom theme and plugin/module development. Knowledge of RESTful API integrations and version control tools like Git, Bitbucket. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Preferred (Good to Have, Not Mandatory) Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks. Familiarity with React.js, Vue.js, or Node.js for front-end development. Exposure to cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean) and payment gateway integrations (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay). Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices for eCommerce websites.
