We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior PHP Developer to join our development team at EdYug Technology. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will work closely with senior developers to build and maintain dynamic web applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting of PHP-based solutions, primarily utilizing the CodeIgniter framework. This position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience looking to advance their careers in web development within a supportive and innovative environment.Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge of PHP and experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a basic understanding of relational databases like MySQL and familiarity with REST APIs and JSON is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities are essential. Prior internship or industrial training experience in web development will be considered a plus, as will familiarity with version control tools like Git.Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of PHP-based web applications. Your tasks will include working within the CodeIgniter framework to develop scalable backend solutions, integrating front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery to deliver seamless user experiences, and debugging issues across different browsers and devices.
