Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using Laravel (PHP ).
Design and manage RESTful APIs for integration with external systems such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and partner platforms.
Work closely with product, business, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions for loan origination, disbursement, and repayment modules.
Maintain and optimize existing codebase for performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Implement and manage role-based access, authentication, and authorization.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with UI components.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and data protection norms.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
Proven experience in Fintech, NBFC, or digital lending projects.
Strong knowledge of MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and database design.
Experience in RESTful API development and third-party API integration .
Familiarity with microservices architecture, queue management (Redis), and caching.
Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React preferred).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
