Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using
PHP
,
Symfony
,
MySQL
,
HTML
,
CSS
, and
jQuery
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to
gather requirements
and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Architect and implement
clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code
following best practices and industry standards
Conduct
code reviews
, provide feedback, and
mentor junior developers
to support team growth and code quality
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high
performance
,
security
, and
reliability
Lead a team of 68 developers, provide technical guidance, and manage task assignments
Actively participate in
Agile/Scrum
activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
Document system designs, architecture decisions, and API specifications for knowledge sharing and support
Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize development tasks and ensure alignment with
business objectives
Drive
continuous improvement
initiatives in development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Identify opportunities for
performance optimization
, refactoring, and technical debt reduction

Required Skills and Qualifications

15+ years of experience
in PHP development with strong hands-on experience in
Symfony
or other MVC frameworks
Proven experience in
leading teams
of developers and delivering enterprise-grade software projects
Strong understanding of
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
,
design patterns
, and
data structures
Experience with
MySQL
and optimizing SQL queries for performance
Proficient in
front-end technologies
: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience in developing and integrating
RESTful APIs
Familiarity with
version control systems
like Git and working with
CI/CD tools
Solid knowledge of
software development life cycle (SDLC)
and Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage
multiple projects/tasks
simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
