Role & responsibilities

Photokalakar is a creative photography & cinematography company specializing in weddings, pre-weddings, commercial shoots, exhibitions, and corporate projects. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photographer with 12 years of experience to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality images for weddings, pre-weddings, events, and commercial shoots.

Work closely with creative directors and clients to understand project requirements.

Operate and maintain professional photography equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, etc.).

Assist in setting up lighting, composition, and backdrops for shoots.

Perform basic photo editing and curation before passing to post-production team.

Manage on-location shoots with professionalism and adaptability.

Ensure timely delivery of images while maintaining creative standards

Preferred candidate profile

12 years of professional photography experience (weddings, events, or commercial preferred).

Strong knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and framing.

Basic photo editing knowledge (Lightroom/Photoshop).

Creative eye with attention to detail and storytelling ability.

Ability to handle pressure and deadlines during live events.

Flexibility to travel for shoots across locations.

Good communication & teamwork skills.

Diploma/Certification in Photography preferred (not mandatory).

Portfolio of past work is a must.
