About the Role

Ecommerce Photo Stylist

You will work closely with our photography, content, and design teams to style products for website listings, ads, campaigns, and social media.

Key Responsibilities

Product Styling & Set Design

• Style products (Rudraksha, Karungali, Gemstones, Idols, Home Décor, Jewelry, Puja items) for high-converting ecommerce shoots.
• Create visually appealing and brand-aligned aesthetic setups for product and lifestyle photography.
• Develop styling concepts based on campaign themes, festivals, launches, and branding requirements.

Shoot Preparation

• Arrange props, backgrounds, fabrics, lighting elements, and supporting materials to create the perfect frame.
• Ensure all products are cleaned, prepared, and presented in their best visual form before shooting.
• Maintain a repository of premium props and backgrounds for consistent brand look.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the photographer, videographer, and creative team during shoots.
• Coordinate with category teams to understand product USPs for styling direction.

Aesthetic Consistency

• Maintain consistency in color palette, textures, tones, and styling direction across website and social media.
• Ensure images match Divine Hindu’s spiritual, premium, and authentic brand feel.

Quality Control

• Evaluate samples and photographs to ensure the final output is clear, sharp, and compelling.
• Suggest retouching directions to the editing team when required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Photo Stylist, Creative Stylist, Visual Merchandiser, or similar role in ecommerce/fashion/lifestyle brands.
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics — composition, color theory, balance, and storytelling.
• Ability to work with spiritual products is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in handling props, materials, textures, and setup creation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple shoots weekly.
• Creative thinker with the ability to plan mood boards and styling concepts.

Good to Have

• Experience with jewelry, lifestyle, home décor, or ethnic product styling.
• Experience in Amazon-style product guidelines (Hero Image, A+ Content, Infographics).
• Understanding of reels/styling for short-form video content.
