Photo Editor

The Senior Photo Editor at Pentarch is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all photographic content. You will set the visual quality standards, manage complex editing projects, and mentor junior staff, ensuring all images align perfectly with Pentarch's brand and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities (Simplified)

Visual Leadership & Quality Control:

• Establish and maintain Pentarch's high-level quality standards for all imagery (color, composition, retouching).
• Perform advanced photo editing and sophisticated retouching for high-priority projects.

• Workflow & Management:

• Oversee the daily flow of images, ensuring deadlines are met across all platforms.
• Lead the organization, categorization, and archiving of all digital photos in the DAM system.
• Manage and track image licenses and usage rights.

Team & Collaboration:

• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and constructive feedback to junior editors and retouchers.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors and Marketing teams to define and execute the visual strategy.

Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and implement new editing software or techniques to improve efficiency and image quality.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  5+ years of professional experience as a Photo Editor or Retoucher, with proven experience in a senior or leadership capacity.

• Technical Skills:

  Expert mastery of

  Adobe Photoshop

  and

  Adobe Lightroom

  (or Capture One).

• Leadership:

  Proven ability to manage complex projects, drive deadlines, and lead a small team or workflow.

• Portfolio:

  A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional high-end retouching and editorial judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
• Experience in
