Phlebotomist / Home Collection

As a Phlebotomist, your primary role is to ensure excellent patient service through home collection. You will be responsible for various tasks including checking and carrying all materials required for home collection, collecting samples on time as per client requirements, and filling the TRF with accurate details upon reaching the patient's home. Additionally, you must collect nasal/throat swabs as needed for tests like H1N1 and Covid-19, and ensure that consent forms for specific tests are filled by the client/patient. Key Responsibilities: - Collect samples in a timely manner and ensure the availability of reports as per the patient's request - Fill TRF with patient details, specimen type, essential clinical information, and other necessary information - Follow phlebotomy protocols for patient identification, labelling, and order of draw - Adhere to safety measures and precautions by wearing gloves, mask, and PPE kit as required - Carry out data entry promptly upon reaching the lab and ensure proper separation, aliquoting, labelling, and dispatch of samples - Maintain readiness of phlebotomy room and bag for the next day's collections - Coordinate with logistics and E-mailing departments for the delivery of reports to patients - Check the scheduler regularly for upcoming visits and highlight any queries to the back-end CCG Qualifications Required: - BSc MLT / DMLT - Freshers can also apply In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the company expects you to comply with applicable information security policies and standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information. You should report any information security incidents promptly to the appropriate authority following the company's reporting procedures. The work schedule is during the day shift, and candidates with at least 1 year of total work experience are preferred. The work location is in person.
