Phlebotomist

As a Phlebotomist at Docthub, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare field by ensuring the safe collection of blood and fluid samples. Your responsibilities will include: - Collecting blood and fluid samples safely. - Ensuring proper labeling of samples. - Handling pediatric and geriatric patients with care. - Following infection control procedures. - Transporting samples to the lab on time. - Maintaining sample collection records. - Supporting lab technicians in routine tasks. - Ensuring hygiene in the collection area. - Comforting patients during procedures. - Maintaining inventory of needles and collection kits. - Having infant collection experience. In addition to the key responsibilities, please note that a bike and a valid driving license are compulsory for this role. The salary for this position ranges from 13K to 20K per month, and accommodation will be provided or reimbursed by the employer. The company is located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, and Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. This on-site position is open to candidates across India, with preference given to candidates from outside Jharkhand. The ideal candidate for this position should have 1 to 5 years of experience as a Phlebotomist. Preferred education includes DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology), BSc Medical Laboratory Technology, or MSc Medical Laboratory Technology. Key skills required for this role include good communication skills, attention to detail, decision-making skills, and problem-solving skills. The interview process consists of a telephonic round followed by an in-person interview at the office.
