Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Greeting customers and addressing their inquiries professionally and in a friendly manner - Receiving and processing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist - Preparing and packaging medications for dispensing - Accurately labeling prescription containers - Managing inventory by ordering, receiving, and organizing pharmaceutical products - Conducting regular inventory checks and assisting in managing expired or damaged products - Operating the point-of-sale system and handling cash or electronic transactions - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy area - Ensuring compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory standards - Assisting the pharmacist in administrative tasks and customer education as needed Qualifications required for this role: - Prior experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role is preferred - Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and procedures - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position located in person.
