Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the pharmacy and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, manage inventory, and provide essential support to pharmacy staff and customers. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing customer inquiries regarding prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and health-related products, as well as processing prescriptions while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of patient information. You will also be responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications, labeling medications accurately to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and verifying information on prescriptions for accuracy. In addition, you will be involved in monitoring stock levels of medications and pharmacy supplies, assisting with the ordering, receiving, and organization of pharmaceutical products, conducting regular inventory audits, and helping manage expired or damaged products. Furthermore, you will provide administrative support by maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
