The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, and ethical dispensing of medications, ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves reviewing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, monitoring drug therapies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Medication Dispensing & Verification Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness. Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with legal and regulatory standards. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of medications. Patient Counseling & Education Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage. Answer questions related to over-the-counter (OTC) products and general health. Pharmacy Operations Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications. Uphold pharmacy policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
