Job Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and safe pharmaceutical care, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and wellness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new medications, therapies, and pharmaceutical guidelines
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or discuss therapy recommendations
• Ensure proper storage, security, and handling of medications
• Review and manage patient medication profiles
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed
• Perform immunizations (if certified/required)
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock maintenance
• Maintain accurate and compliant records, logs, and documentation
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy OR Diploma in pharmacy
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Kerala
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and pharmacy law
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous retail or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization certification (preferred or required depending on state)

Schedule

• Weekend or evening shifts may be required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
