Core Responsibilities

• Medication Dispensing: Review and interpret prescriptions; compound, package, and label medicines accurately.
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock records, monitor inventory levels, and remove expired or damaged products.
• Regulatory Compliance: Follow all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards set by the State Pharmacy Council.
• Prescription Verification: Check prescriptions for accuracy and identify therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Operational Support: Oversee technicians and ensure smooth daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution
• Valid State Pharmacy Registration License (mandatory, including for freshers)
• Region-specific license (e.g., Delhi-registered) may be required for certain roles
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems is an added advantage
