PGT Mathematics

In this role at Maxfort School, Rohini, you will lead the Mathematics Department and supervise teaching practices for Classes 11 & 12. Your responsibilities will include overseeing lesson planning, ensuring timely syllabus completion, and monitoring student academic progress. You will review and analyze student performance data to recommend academic interventions, align with CBSE/ISC curriculum standards, and support curriculum development. Conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback, and organizing teacher training sessions will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will guide students in subject selection, STEM pathways, and board examination preparation, manage academic records, assessments, documentation, and parent communication, as well as organize academic events such as Math Day, science fairs, Olympiads, and counselling workshops. Collaboration with the counselling cell to support students preparing for competitive exams (JEE, CUET, etc.) will also be essential.
