Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Baghchung, a reputed institution known for quality education and values-based learning, is inviting applications for the post of PGT History Teacher . The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching History to classes XI & XII, and also handle Social Science (History, Civics, Geography, Economics) for classes IX & X. We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who can bring history to life in the classroom and help students understand the relevance of the social sciences in today’s world. Key Responsibilities: Teach History to classes XI and XII in line with the AHSEC/SEBA curriculum. Handle the full range of Social Science subjects for classes IX and X. Design engaging and informative lesson plans and activities. Prepare students for board examinations through regular assessments and revisions. Maintain accurate student records and contribute to overall academic growth. Participate actively in school events, meetings, and training programs. Create a supportive and disciplined classroom environment. Qualifications & Requirements: Master’s degree (M.A.) in History or related field. B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at secondary/senior secondary level (preferred). Strong command over English and good communication skills. Ability to integrate technology and innovative methods into teaching. Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds.
