Job Summary: The Pest Control Operator is responsible for inspecting premises, identifying pest infestations, and applying appropriate treatment methods to eliminate or prevent pests. The role involves using chemicals and tools safely and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect residential, commercial, or industrial properties for signs of pest infestation. Identify the type of pests and determine the appropriate treatment plan. Safely handle and apply pesticides, insecticides, and fumigation chemicals. Operate pest control equipment such as sprayers, foggers, and bait stations. Follow scheduled visits and service requests as assigned. Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and safety precautions. Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used. Ensure all safety regulations and company protocols are followed during operations. Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Clean and maintain pest control equipment after use. Report any damages, safety hazards, or incidents to the supervisor. Requirements: Minimum 10th pass; training or certification in pest control is an advantage Knowledge of chemicals, pests, and safety practices. Physically fit and able to work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, confined spaces, etc.). Basic record-keeping and communication skills. Honest, reliable, and punctual. Must be willing to travel to client sites as required. Working Conditions: Exposure to chemicals; safety equipment is mandatory.
