- Manage the MD’s calendar and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Act as the first point of contact for the MD, screening and prioritizing communications.

1. Project monitoring and control
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, verify quality, and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones against the master schedule to identify any potential delays or deviations.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, issue logs, and records of materials used.
- Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) to track progress and update schedules as needed.
2. Coordination and communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Coordinate the allocation and delivery of resources, such as materials, equipment, and manpower, to the site.
- Facilitate regular progress meetings with the project team to discuss status, address challenges, and align tasks.
- Communicate daily progress reports and escalate any critical issues or potential risks to the project manager promptly.
3. Quality and safety assurance
- Assist in implementing and enforcing all health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to review and interpret technical drawings and plans.
4. Problem-solving and risk mitigation
- Proactively identify potential project bottlenecks, conflicts, or risks, such as material shortages or design discrepancies.
- Expedite and follow up on submissions, permits, and queries during the construction phase to prevent delays.
- Provide technical support and assist in resolving site-related problems quickly and effectively.
Qualifications and skillsEducation and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
