Work Experience: 7-10 years
Industry: IT Services Job Type: FULL TIME Location: Gurugram, India

Key Responsibilities:

Required a skilled and experienced developer with expertise in Perl.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Perl applications and scripts to ensure high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement APIs, integrate with databases, and support web applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Skills:

Extensive experience with Perl programming, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and regular expressions.
Familiarity with web frameworks (e. g. , Dancer, Mojolicious) and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Proficiency in interacting with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite) using Perl DBI and ORM tools.
Strong experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development and code management.
Experience with testing frameworks (e. g. , Test::More, Test::Harness) and debugging tools to ensure code quality and performance.
Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API design and implementation to integrate with other systems.
Strong command of Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and system administration.
