Performance Testing Specialist

As an experienced Performance Testing Engineer at Wipro, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Evaluate Open-source tools to complement the capabilities in a continuous integration model. - Test applications developed using .NET, JAVA, SAP Web, SAP GUI, MQ, etc. - Perform early performance testing and interact with SMEs & Business to understand PT/PE requirements. - Work on Digital, Mobile, and Cloud Platforms and drive Shift Left/Right testing approach. - Facilitate and lead the NFT delivery activities, collaborating closely with the development team. - Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability & scalability. - Hands-on experience with scripting using tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, NeoLoad, any mobile performance tool (JMeter is a must). - Work with protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), Web service, Java, Java Over HTTP, True Client & Mobile protocols. - Write user-defined functions/custom code to automate script challenges. - Identify performance issues early in the test cycle and propose solutions. - Proficient in programing languages like Core Java, Python, etc. - Strong presentation and communication skills for effective stakeholder management. In terms of monitoring & analysis, you will be required to: - Have in-depth knowledge in monitoring (Client side, Server Side, DB, Network, and Load Balancer). - Analyze & provide suggestions to dev/infra team on issues noticed through APM tools like App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, New Relic, etc. - Write SQL queries, use profiling tools like SQL Profiler. - Knowledge on JVM, GC logs, CLR, Server Tuning & Optimization, and Capacity Planning. - Install, configure, maintain, and administer performance tools. Work on Heap and thread dump analysis using any tool.
