Job Summary

Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance requirements and define testing objectives.
• Develop performance testing strategies, plans, and scripts using tools such as

  JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter

  .
• Identify and validate

  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  including response time, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Simulate realistic user load, traffic, and system conditions to evaluate system behavior under various scenarios.
• Execute a variety of performance testing types:
• Load Testing
• Stress Testing
• Endurance Testing
• Volume Testing
• Scalability Testing
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using

  APM tools

  like

  Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Splunk

  .
• Collect, analyze, and interpret performance test data to identify performance issues and root causes.
• Generate comprehensive reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with

  Development, QA, DevOps

  , and

  Infrastructure

  teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Continuously improve performance testing frameworks and stay current with industry trends and emerging tools.

  solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
