As a Performance Testing Engineer, your primary role will involve conducting performance, load, stress, and scalability testing on web and mobile applications to ensure they meet performance criteria. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and strategies, defining performance benchmarks and test scenarios. Utilizing performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling, you will create automated test scripts and execute performance tests. During tests, you will monitor system performance using tools like Grafana, analyze results to identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvements. Your tasks will also include preparing detailed performance test reports, summarizing findings, metrics, and suggesting optimizations. Collaboration with development teams to understand application architecture, identify performance requirements, and ensure effective resolution of performance issues will be a key aspect of your role. Skills: - Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. - Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with monitoring tools and analyzing performance metrics (e.g., Grafana). - Experience working with WebSocket communication protocols is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
