Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  performance test scripts

  using

  Apache JMeter

  .
• Conduct different types of performance testing —

  Load, Stress, Endurance, and Spike testing

  .
• Create and execute

  API tests

  using

  Postman

  and validate backend responses and performance.
• Perform

  functional and regression testing

  using

  Selenium WebDriver

  (UI validation and automation).
• Collaborate with

  business teams during UAT

  to validate user scenarios and ensure readiness for production.
• Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Work closely with

  developers, DevOps, and QA teams

  to resolve performance-related issues.
• Prepare detailed

  performance test reports

  and share insights with stakeholders.
• Log and track performance defects using

  Jira

  and ensure timely closure.
• Participate in

  agile/scrum meetings

  to provide testing updates and feedback.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  Performance Testing

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  JMeter

  – scripting, correlation, parameterization, and result analysis.
• Experience in

  API Testing

  using

  Postman

  (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Good understanding of

  Selenium WebDriver

  for functional and regression testing.
• Exposure to

  UAT processes

  , including coordination with business stakeholders.
• Experience using

  Jira

  for defect tracking, reporting, and test management.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) and

  version control systems

  (Git).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying performance bottlenecks.
