Performance Test Engineer

Experience Required:

• 4+ years

  of strong hands-on experience in

  Performance Engineering

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Performance Engineering Expertise

  :
• Solid understanding of

  Performance Engineering concepts

• Strong knowledge of

  infrastructure/backend monitoring

  and relevant performance metrics based on tech stack and components

• Performance Testing Tools

  :
• Hands-on experience with

  Gatling

  and/or

  LoadRunner

  (mandatory)

• Monitoring & Logging Tools

  :
• Proficient with

  APM tools

  such as

  AppDynamics

  or similar (mandatory)
• Experience with

  Splunk

  for log analysis (mandatory)

• Cloud Architecture Knowledge

  :
• Good understanding of

  AWS

  services including EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch
• Exposure to

  Azure

  cloud components is a plus

• Architecture & Metrics

  :
• Familiarity with

  Kubernetes

  and

  Microservices architecture

• Experience with

  JVM monitoring and tuning

  , including

  heap dump

  and

  thread dump analysis

• Programming & Troubleshooting

  :
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably

  Java

• Ability to analyze code to troubleshoot performance issues

• DevOps & Version Control

  :
• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with

  GitHub

  for version control and collaboration

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance tests using Gatling or LoadRunner
• Monitor application performance using AppDynamics and analyze logs via Splunk
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks
• Analyze JVM metrics and perform tuning based on heap/thread dump analysis
• Work with cloud-native applications and ensure performance across AWS/Azure environments
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for performance testing
• Review application code to identify and resolve performance issues
• Document findings and provide recommendations for performance improvements
