Role Overview: As a Performance Engineer at Salesforce Performance Team, you will be integral in developing innovative software solutions to enhance engineer productivity and address software performance challenges. Your responsibilities will involve deep diving into large-scale applications across various technology stacks to optimize performance and contribute to delivering real-time business intelligence for faster decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-End Performance Analysis: Analyze distributed environments to optimize application performance bottlenecks. - Coding and Developing Skills: Develop and debug code to identify and resolve performance issues. - UI/Mobile Performance Scalability: Measure and optimize user interface performance across mobile and other devices. - Evangelizing Performance: Drive performance initiatives within the engineering team and industry. - Automation Tools for Performance: Design and implement efficient processes and automation for testing and regression detection.
