People Technical HR Project Manager

In this role at Celonis, you will be part of the People & Culture Systems Team, a critical unit responsible for translating complex People Operations needs into precise technology requirements. Your primary focus will be on executing the People Tech Roadmap, optimizing and automating systems, and managing system enhancements for core HR applications like Workday and ServiceNow. As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include: - Leading projects outlined in the People Technology roadmap to ensure alignment with strategic HR goals and business priorities. - Partnering with stakeholders and Systems Engineers to identify, design, and implement technical solutions for system optimizations and workflow efficiencies. - Managing end-to-end lifecycle for system enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review. - Serving as a subject matter expert and project lead for Workday initiatives, troubleshooting complex functional areas, and driving continuous improvement. - Managing daily operations and optimization of ServiceNow for HR service delivery, ensuring efficient case management and workflow routing. - Acting as an escalation point for complex technical system issues, coordinating fixes with IT and vendors for timely resolution. - Facilitating communication and collaboration between functional teams, IT partners, external vendors, and end-users to ensure project milestones are met. To excel in this role, you will need: - Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations, with a strong understanding of core employee lifecycle processes. - Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical role focused on translating business needs into technical configuration. - Proven experience in leading large, cross-functional projects and conducting user acceptance testing. Your technical expertise should include: - Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Workday HCM, specifically in areas like Business Process configuration and report writing. - Proven experience in configuring and deploying ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, including case management and knowledge base management. - Desired experience with other HR applications and familiarity with integration concepts.
