Our new colleague and People & Culture Specialist will serve as a key enabler of the HR function for Palsgaard India. This role ensures comprehensive HR operations, aligned with global People & Culture strategies, while fostering a positive, compliant, and productive workplace environment.
In this position, you will report to the HR Head (India) and collaborate with global colleagues and People & Culture.Responsibilities:
- Manage full recruitment cycle sourcing, interviewing, onboarding. Partner with business teams for workforce planning and job description.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and cultural integration.
- Be the first point of contact for colleague queries and concerns. Promote a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
- Guide on performance management, conflict resolution, and feedback practices.
- Contribute to the transformation of People & Culture by providing a regional perspective into the global People & Culture agenda and lead the implementation of global initiatives within the region.
- Performance & Talent Development: Administer performance review cycles, identify learning needs and drive capability development programs.
- Coach managers on goal setting and talent conversations.
- HR Compliance & Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and company policies.
- Coordinate with external consultants for HR audits/statutory filings.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support payroll inputs and benefits administration, Assist with compensation benchmarking and structure alignment
- HR Projects & Global Alignment: Lead/Support HR initiatives like engagement surveys, succession planning, etc.
- Local execution of global People & Culture strategies. Liaise with global teams for harmonized policies and practices.
- Track HR metrics related to hiring, attrition, compliance, etc.
Desired Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Any certification in People & Organizational Development will be a plus.
- 710 years of HR experience in a global, fast-paced setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws & HR compliance.
- Experience in influencing and supporting senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in HRMS
- Strong background in performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential matters sensitively.
