Role Overview: As a Pega CSSA Engineer/Lead/Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to create smooth and efficient onboarding and other processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. You will collaborate with Ops engineers, Business specialists, and other Pega Dev engineers in an agile squad. Your squad is part of the Global KYC Tribe, focusing on business delivery, and you will be a member of a Pega Dev Chapter emphasizing engineering craftsmanship. The agile/scrum methodology is followed, emphasizing iterative and incremental software development in small multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: - Take part in User Story refinement. - Analyze requirements and request modification or enrichment when needed. - Participate in the design of the solution. - Implement qualitative applications. - Build applications as close as possible to Pega out-of-the-box features. - Create or modify Unit Tests when necessary along with the implementation of new functionalities. - Participate in manual testing activities when required. - Proactively monitor application quality. - Ensure that logs do not display unwanted messages and errors. - Participate in the Peer Review process. - Fix incidents and problems when necessary. - Suggest and contribute to Continuous Delivery initiatives. - Automate deployment, functional/technical/performance testing, system health checks, and other manual tasks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Pega CSSA certification. - 6-13 years of relevant experience in Pega development. - Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies. - Proficiency in creating and modifying Unit Tests. - Experience in manual testing and peer review processes. - Knowledge of Continuous Delivery practices and automation techniques.
