Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage complex medical conditions

Lead and participate in rounds, ensuring clear communication with families and healthcare providers

Contribute to the development and implementation of PICU protocols and guidelines

Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric critical care practices

Engage in clinical research activities to advance the field of pediatric critical careRequired Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine

Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Valid medical license to practice in the state or country of employment

Extensive experience in the management of critically ill pediatric patients

Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills

Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make critical decisionsWorkplace Culture
