Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to each child's needs

Perform and supervise advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary for critically ill patients

Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Communicate effectively with families to explain complex medical information and provide emotional support

Participate in teaching and training programs for medical staff, residents, and students

Contribute to research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance pediatric critical care services

Required Qualifications

Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Pediatrics and further fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Valid medical license to practice in India

Demonstrated experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Commitment to continuous education and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care
