Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Librarian and Layout Design Engineer with a strong background in Altium Designer Pro and Cadence Allegro. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with schematic symbol creation, PCB footprint creation, library management and PCB design. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain PCB footprints and schematic symbols in compliance with IEEE standards for symbols and IPC standards for PCB footprints. Transition symbol and footprint libraries from Cadence Allegro to Altium Designer, ensuring integrity of the translated symbols and footprints. Develop and manage Altium Designer libraries, ensuring accuracy and consistency across designs. Ensure that library components meet company and industry standards for manufacturability and reliability. Create or develop process for library management in Altium Designer Provide support to engineers and designers by ensuring that the latest and most accurate libraries are accessible for design work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand library requirements and assist in the creation of custom libraries for unique components. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in library management and PCB Design. Proficiency in Altium Designer pro is a must. Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other PCB design tools (e.g., OrCAD, Allegro). Familiarity with IPC standards and guidelines. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Certification in PCB design or related fields.
