PCB Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a PCB Design Engineer at Presage Insights, you will be responsible for designing and developing PCB layouts for various electronic devices. You will play a crucial role in integrating wireless modules such as Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, and Lora, designing battery-powered circuits, conducting circuit simulations, and ensuring signal integrity analysis. Additionally, you will participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, schematic captures, component selection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to define project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic devices - Integrate wireless modules and design battery-powered circuits - Conduct circuit simulations and signal integrity analysis - Complete Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis - Utilize ECAD tools for schematic captures and PCB designs - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and select suitable components - Create detailed design documentation and technical reports - Review and validate designs to meet industry standards - Address design issues during the prototyping phase - Support manufacturing teams in assembly and testing of PCBs - Continuously improve PCB design processes and methodologies - Train and mentor junior engineering staff Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - Proven experience in PCB design and layout - Strong knowledge of PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD) - Familiarity with electronics testing and troubleshooting - Understanding of design specifications and project lifecycles - Experience with signal integrity and power integrity analysis - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Knowledge of IPC standards and regulations - Experience in prototyping and testing of PCB designs - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - Self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary - Previous experience in a fast-paced engineering environment,
