Full Time
Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a monthly cycle.
Validate timesheets, attendance, leaves, overtime, arrears, reimbursements, and deductions.
Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, including increments, bonuses, advances, recoveries, etc.
Prepare payroll inputs liaise with shared service / accounts for salary disbursement.
Maintain detailed payroll schedules reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS, PF, ESI, PT, LWF, gratuity provisions, and other relevant labour laws.
Prepare and submit statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
Coordinate audits / inspections related to payroll statutory compliance.
Prepare monthly payroll reports, variance analysis, cost centre reports, head count trackers, and other ad-hoc MIS.
Generate payroll dashboards for leadership with trends insights.
Share cost reports with Finance for month-end closing.
Maintain payroll data with confidentiality integrity.
Ensure updates to employee master data (bank details, pay components, tax declarations).
Maintain digital files / archives for audit readiness.
Act as primary point of contact for payroll queries from employees.
Resolve pay-related issues, provide clarifications, and follow up with cross-functional teams.
Review payroll processes periodically for error reduction efficiency.
Support automation initiatives (ex: HRMS / payroll system enhancements).
Prepare and support internal/ external payroll audits.
Ensure proper documentation of payroll policies, SOPs, and control checklists.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Good communication skills (email / verbal).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Team collaboration and stakeholder management.
Payroll Software: Zimyo/ similar HRMS preferred.
MIS Tools: Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, formulas)
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Graduate in Commerce / HR / Finance
Certification in Payroll / HR is a plus
2 – 5 years of hands-on payroll experience
Pure payroll processing focus required
