Role Overview:

You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Business Stakeholders, while also liaising with third-party suppliers during project delivery.

• Provide subject matter expertise during the design and delivery phases of projects.
• Design end-to-end solutions for projects impacting Payments and Loan Management systems, ensuring compliance with enterprise design standards and methodologies.
• Create and review project documentation including

  Requirements

  ,

  High-Level Design (HLD)

  ,

  Detailed Design (LLD)

  ,

  Testing Strategies

  , and

  Training Materials

  .
• Manage solution design across the full project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, proactively identifying and resolving defects.
• Collaborate with L2/L3 IT Operations teams to analyze and resolve production issues.
• Ensure adherence to

  PCI-DSS

  ,

  FCA

  ,

  SOX

  , and

  Ofcom

  compliance requirements.
• Contribute to transformation strategies within the Billing Domain, focusing on

  engineering excellence

  and

  cost optimization

  .
• Support operational stability and performance enhancements across finance systems.
• Provide

  ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude)

  estimates for costs and timelines during the initial project scoping phase.
• Assist the Domain Head/Project Lead in evaluating supplier deliverables, scope, and pricing, using appropriate estimation tools aligned with Supply Chain Management practices.
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 5-10 years

  of experience delivering IT solutions in a

  multi-vendor environment

  within the

  Finance and Payments domain

  .
• Strong hands-on experience in

  solution design

  , with in-depth knowledge of

  PCI-DSS

  ,

  BACS

  , and

  Telecom Billing

  .
• Experience integrating with both

  traditional and modern Payment Service Providers (PSPs)

  across

  Digital Channels

  Retail

  BSS services

  .
• Solid technical background in

  Unix/Linux

  PL/SQL

  .
• Experience with

  product upgrades

  and managing related technical impacts.
