Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Testing Engineer proficient in Mobile, Web, Database, and API testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications across multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, Database, and API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Design comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate functional, integration, performance, and regression testing. Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear, actionable steps for resolution. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to validate endpoints, payloads, and responses. Conduct database testing to verify data integrity, consistency, and performance using SQL queries. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing with a focus on Mobile, Web, Database, and API testing. Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or TestComplete. Strong experience in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. Hands-on experience with database testing, including writing and optimizing SQL queries. Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for test script development. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
