Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses related to

  Pattern Making, Draping, Garment Construction, and CAD

  to fashion design students.
• Develop lesson plans, course materials, and practical projects that align with industry standards.
• Conduct classroom and studio sessions, practical demonstrations, and workshops.
• Guide students in portfolio development, design projects, and final collections.
• Mentor students on research, internships, and career development.
• Stay updated with current trends in pattern technology, garment production, and fashion innovations.
• Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
• Participate in academic administration, student evaluation, and departmental activities.
• Collaborate with industry experts for guest lectures, seminars, and collaborative projects.
• Engage in research, publications, and knowledge-sharing within the field of fashion design.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters Degree in

  Fashion Design / Pattern Making / Garment Technology

  from a recognized institution (Ph.D. preferred for higher positions).
• Strong academic background with specialization in

  Pattern Making, Draping, Garment Construction, and Apparel CAD Software (e.g., Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, Tukatech)

  .
• Minimum [25 years] of teaching and/or industry experience in pattern making and garment development.
• Ability to demonstrate technical expertise and innovative teaching practices.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Strong research orientation and ability to publish in reputed journals (preferred).
