Job Description

Role Overview: As the Patient Relations Executive, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout their interaction with the hospital. You will play a crucial role in assisting with admission, discharge, billing, appointments, and addressing any queries or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Key Responsibilities: - Welcome patients and their relatives, providing guidance on hospital services, procedures, and policies. - Assist in the smooth process of admission and discharge formalities. - Promptly address patient and family concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate authority when necessary. - Regularly monitor and assess patient satisfaction during their hospital stay. - Coordinate effectively between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and administration to resolve concerns. - Help patients in booking appointments, follow-ups, and investigations. - Facilitate the smooth flow of information between different departments to meet patient needs. - Handle patient grievances with empathy and professionalism. - Provide clear explanations regarding billing, insurance, and hospital procedures. - Ensure every patient departs with a positive impression of the hospital services. - Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, feedback forms, and complaints. - Support the hospital in quality audits and accreditation processes. - Ensure compliance with hospital standards, patient rights, and confidentiality policies. Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. - Previous experience in a hospital/healthcare setting is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Patient-centric approach with empathy and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office and hospital software. - Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Work Conditions: - Based in the hospital front office, wards, or OPD. - Rotational shifts may be required, including weekends and holidays. - Daily direct interaction with patients, attendants, and hospital staff.
