Job Description

Providing basic nursing care and support to patients in hospitals, clinics, or home settings. PCAs assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in their duties. esponsibilities: Assisting with daily living: Helping patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and mobility. Monitoring vital signs: Checking blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Providing emotional support: Offering companionship and encouragement to patients. Maintaining a clean environment: Ensuring patient rooms and equipment are clean and organized. Assisting with medication: Helping patients take their prescribed medications under the guidance of nurses. Reporting changes: Observing patients for any unusual signs or symptoms and reporting them to nurses or doctors. Transporting patients: Assisting patients with mobility, such as transferring them to wheelchairs or escorting them to appointments. Maintaining patient records: Recording observations and vital signs in the patient's chart. Maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor: Being patient and understanding when working with patients who may have various needs.
