As a healthcare professional in this role, you will have the opportunity to communicate with and counsel patients effectively, contributing to their improved health outcomes. Your responsibilities will include advertising services to generate quality leads, as well as understanding oncology medications and dispensing drugs as per the treating oncologist's prescriptions. You will be tasked with maintaining the patient care database by promptly entering new information and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit dose area and drug mixing room. Your role will also involve dispensing medications competently following established procedures and legal requirements, while verifying findings and reports to ensure data accuracy. In addition, you will play a crucial part in upholding quality service standards by establishing and enforcing organizational protocols. Continuous self-improvement is encouraged in this position, and you will be expected to stay updated with professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
